There are hundreds of recipes made of Stevia. In fact, you can make anything, any kind of sweets or recipes simply replacing sugar or other types of sweetening agent by STEVIA.

It doesn’t matter what form of Stevia (leaf, leaf powder, liquid concentrate or purified white powder) you use into the food item you want to prepare. However, you must know the quantity be applied in comparison to sugar.

You also need to remember that other than white powder, any other form of Stevia may slightly change colour of the food although that won’t change the desired taste. Normally, boiled Stevia leaf, leaf powder and liquid concentrate have light brown colour.

However, if the main food element is deep in colour (such as tea, coffee), this is not possible to notice the change in the colour of the drinks or food item at all.

Baking with Stevia

Unlike most artificial sweeteners, Stevia does not break down and can withstand high temperatures while cooking and cold temperatures when frozen.
It is also compatible with salt and organic acids and natural sweeteners such as barley malt, honey, fructose and sorbitol.

Stevia can be used safely and effectively as a substitute for sugar in all recipes where sugar and low calorie sweeteners would normally be used.
